A result of my het x het pieds...Ricky is the male from Ron.
(the pics are sucky, so I will only post two pics..more to come after they come out and I can get better pics..but out of 5 eggs, THREE are pieds! I am sooo happy! 
(note to self, read the camera manual!!  )

chance is that each egg has a 25% chance of being a pied.. so if odds are correct then 1 out of every 4 eggs should be a pied.

Why? Cause until they are out and breathing and eating on their own, they aren't actually LIVE Pieds and they don't really count.

so how long do they stay inside that yolk of the egg deb? and do they feed off that until its gone then they emerge?

Nick has a theory about when they emerge if the eggs are cut. I will wait for him to reply to that part. But yes, unless something goes wrong, they stay inside the egg until the yolk is absorbed.
