I wouln;t suggest it, he won't be able to see you and will be very apprehensive.

That's kind of up to the snake. Some of mine are okay with it and some are very jumpy... Like Monty said they can't see very well so they don't know if there being attacked or if your coming in to pick them up???

well snakes in general have poor eye sight but i try not to handle them during the shed cycle but its up to you and the snake.
