i didn't know where to put this but these are pictures from a local pet store.
(hey there is bps in it so im thinkin right page )
This is in WA I don't live here but will be moving in 1 year (my dad went ahead of us) So I wanted to know what you think good bad?? or what ( the bps that don't have hids and new and the hids were getting washed)
( oh p.s. deb i decided to get a female norm the 6 mo later get the spider)
And one more thing they get there snakes from a local breeder that just sales to them.
( this is there pet ( they have raised he is not one for sale))
( babys from same clutch last two left)
( yes i know to small water dish for snake to soak)
SOOOOOO WHAT DO YOU THINK?!?! should I buy from them yes or now ( BANZIA PLACE YOUR BETS NOW!)

I said yes but I really mean maybe. I would ask them questions about the ball pythons. Like where they came from. Ask them to feed them and let you see to make sure they are eating. Just make sure everything is ok with them. If you do get one I would take it to the vet right away and get it checked out. From my experience buying from a reputable breeder online is much better.

No-Maybe.
I have a general distaste for petstores. They usually have no idea as to where the animal came from, or how to care for it. And in my personal experience.. petstores are mites/ticks galore.
You should check on the locale, see if the general place and cages are kept clean, check on the snake too.

NO !
NO !
NO !
Look at their set up, given it looks clean BUT where are the 2 hides? where are the heat lamps? where are the thermometers and humity guages?
hate to tell you but they are BS! and i bet the guy that breeds and sells only to them imports CH that he gives them. DONT TRUST PET STORES.. people never learn because the pet stores are on forums like this and know how to lie to the customer to make a sale.
if they take care of the snakes they have for sale and event the one they "have raised thats not for sale and is a pet" the way they do i would not step back in that place or if you do for feeders DONT TOUCH THE SNAKES OR ANYTHING ELSE.

only way to hold it from a good breeder and get quality a quality animal that you can hold is from a show, even there you have to be carefull and some may not let you hold them.
i have bought MOST of my animals right off the internet with only pictures and have been extreamly happy with every single one.

I said no for all the same reasons that Nick Did, no thermometers, no humidity gauges, the RTB is soaking in a water bowl just screams that they dont know how to treat the animal. So I say dont trust them.

Ok I am not disagreeing with you guys but I just want to point some stuff out, I agree with a lot of what you guys say. First of all look at the second pic, you can see heat lamps. Second he said the hides were being washed (could be false) but that shows that they have hides. Third in the 3rd picture if you look at the top of the two tanks you can see the lights, which I would assume are heat lamps. I am not trying to start an arguement I am just pointing out some stuff. Would I buy from there? most likely not. I agree there is a lot of stuff wrong and they could do much much better but I have seen much worse.

I would say YES and NO, big chain pet store I say NO, but that store look like just a local reptile store, but you need to know about the store about how they treat there animal and how often they feeding them (on the schedule or when ever they get food in stock) and just ask them let you hold 3 or 4 of the animals in the store and check for mite, how firm the body, how active are they and etc... that is my opinion, I got most of my from named breeder and some from the reptile store ( I knew the owner)LOL

Maybe those tanks are TOO warm. Those baby bp's aren't even trying to hide in the foliage. They're pressed against the glass where its probably cooler. That may be why the red tail is soaking too. Very surprised by the lack of a single thermometer.

i take everything as i see it... no hides = no hides.. how hard is it to wash a hide? i do it and have to clean way more snakes than the few he has.
it shows " lights " on top of the "pet" and not on the bp and RTB cages. looks like just plain halogen lighting to show the snakes off. there is NO thermometer or heat source for these snakes which shows hes in it to bring snakes in and get them out. days and days at room temp these snakes will get sick.
substrate is bark which is more for show than good. some use it as it helps with humidity BUT its not going to help with an open top like that.
hes also keeping more than one snake in a cage.
sorry if you buy a snake from him BP Lover i warned you about it.
