Well Today Was A Crazy Day.....I Was Sleeping When My Mother Wakes Me Up And Tells Me "David The Neighbors Found A Snake And They Are going to Kill It! Wake Up!" So I Wake Up And Rush out The Door! (Forgot To Put My Contacts In My Eyes So Im As Blind As A Bat!)

When I Go To Their House I Find Them Looking At it And Saying "Its A Rattler! Take The Shovel To Its Head!" Then Im thinking To My Self "Oh Man Look What I got Into" So I Walk Over And Look At The So Called "Rattler"...... And To My surprise Its A Cali King Rattling its tail In Fear.

So I Just Picked up The King And They All Looked At Me And Screamed "Your Crazy! Put It Down!".... I Simply Walked Away With The King In My Hand.....Of course Musk All Over It Now And Took It Home.

I Handled Him/her For About A Hour And Not once Did he Tag Me.....I Have A Special Place For king Snakes In My Heart.....I Know I Shouldn't Have but I Did, I Set up A Tank And Called Him my Own....Its Completely Legal To Keep Wild Caught Cali Kings In My Area But You Are Limited To One Per Day And You Must Have A Fishing Licence( I Always Buy One But Never Go Fishing Anymore).

Will Post Pics Tomorrow......All FeedBack Will Be Accepted Negative Or Positive.

I hope it survives. Crying or Very sad Might be best if you let it go immediately so that it can seek whatever it needs to heal? Holding it in a tank it may want to be alone and the stress would keep it from healing quickly perhaps?

They aren't that expensive, you could buy a CB one that is already used to being caged, perhaps may be a better idea?

Whatever you decide to do, good luck! Smile
