I use aspen and Desert snow....

cypress mulch here, used to use repti-bark but my collection grew bigger and mulch was more economical.

recently switched to a green AstroTurf made for reptiles and cut to fit my tank and it has done a great job, Ty likes it and has had a perfect shed on it, so I'll stick with it.

I just switched to this desert snow stuff, and I have to say I love it. It's a lot easier to spot clean with this compared to aspen. Plus it doesn't seem to trap heat like aspen did.

It's a little pricy, but in my opinion well worth it. I paid about $15 for a 4lbs bag. I pay about $12 for a 4lbs bag of aspen.

I have seen the Desert Snow and it is beautiful..but not economical at this point. Still I may try it out one day.

Yeah I can understand for someone in your situation that has that many snakes it would not be very practical. I don't use it on all of mine just the ones that are kept in the house, and it's great stuff..... Smile
