Can anyone help me on how to wire up Flex-Watt I have a 5 slot rack I just purchased 5ft of 11inch Flex-Watt with all the connectors. To start off with I really only want to run it to the top three shelves. Can I run this into one plug that can be plugged into my t-stat and if so how do I do that. I know how to run it with the plug coming off of each piece but I thought I read somewhere that is could be ran into just one plug rather than me having 3 plugs coming out the back. Thanks in advanced for the help.....

You can do it one of two ways. The first way is to use the supplied alligator type metal clips (assuming you received them). You can pick up a two-strand wire cord with the ends already exposed from Wal-mart. Separate the chords some so each side can reach the ends of the flexwatt. Place one of the wire ends in the clip, crimp it down to secure it, position the clip over the edge of the flexwatt and crimp it securely. Place the protective plastic pieces over the clip for safety. Repeat for the other side of the flexwatt.

The other option is to solder the wire cord ends directly to the flexwatt. Expose a piece of the flexwatt (on the far left or right) and solder the wire cord directly to the flexwatt (see above).

You can run the flexwatt down over the three levels and control them with your thermostat.

Hope this helped. Smile
