i've never been to a reptile expo before and i'm going to the one in long island tomorrow (nov. 1). i'm so excited! (thanks playball, you were actually the one who brought my attention to this one to begin with ) i've seen so many awesome pictures from events like that, i can't wait.
the only thing i'm sad about is the new-ish law in the NYC area that big snakes aren't allowed

No problem! Remember, go there with a budget in mind, but take some extra cash as well

so i decided to wait until the next show to get something - because i tend to be an impulsive buyer and since i've never been to one of these before i figured it would be best to hold off. luckily, there's another one in white plains at the end of the month that i'm planning on going to, and in that one the bigger snakes are allowed (not that i'm planning on getting one i just love seeing them). it was a crazy experience though! i had so much fun. unfortunately, my camera died while i was there so i didn't get an pictures. nevertheless, it was an awesome time! i can't wait for the next one
