Not sure.....your best bet is most likely to check out some hets, and see what they look like.

I just looked in Kevin McCurley's book. And it has a picture of a het pi. It says that a white belly is a good marker in general. So I would start looking for that.

The book he is referencing is "The Complete Ball Python" and can be found here http://www.rcreptiles.com/links.html#anchor2.

Where did you purchase her and what was she sold as? That is usually the truest indicator.

Did he tell you that it was HET for pied? Most of them will tell you. If they don't tell you, chances are that it was normal. "These are the females used to make deals can mean anything." It's sales talk.
I have a normal that has a clear belly and black lines...this is the female that I got from you Ron, the first normal female...any chances that you made a mistake?

Then chances are it's normal. Next time you go to a Reptile show, or purchase, I would suggest that you study the different Morphs and their distinguising marks. Someone had some "possible" yellow bellies for sell today at the MAR show trying to trap the young /unwary buyers.
I expect some forums are being flooded now with pictures and questions, is this a YB.

We have a potential het for pi at the museum. I'll take a pic of it on Sunday.
