So my bp, Hugh is a pretty good eater as long as his food is exactly the same every time. My problem now is that I need him to eat more, I was feeding him giant mice that my friend breeds (it's not a special breed of mice, she was just able to breed them big) but they aren't enough anymore. I feed him frozen/thawed mice and I was hoping I could just start feeding him two mice, but he just ran away from the second one. Aside from him not taking the other mouse, my friend needs some time for her mice to grow. She gave me a bunch of frozen ones but they weren't big enough and he didn't take them. I finally today traded those frozen mice for some small rats, which are a bit bigger than the mice he was eating were. He didn't take the rat. So he'll be a year in August and he hasn't eaten since the 8th of last month. I know he's hungry because he is always crawling around looking for food, what should I do.

have you tried scenting the rats with the mice so that they smell the same, but you may want to branch out into other foods like gerbils and such to see if he will eat one of them, but scenting usually does the trick

yeah I've heard to try chicken broth. I'll try that first and if it doesn't work I'll take the rats over to my friend's place to mouse-ify them ^_^ Thanks!
