Your best bet with him is to put him in a deli cup for a while, or catch him before he gets moving around. He's actually a good one to practice on, because the white will often get messed up by the flash...it'll help you get a feel for the effects of ambient light, what the flash does, and how to get around it (different angles, filtering, etc)

Oopss! One of my pastels also looks mean but he's actually mean (always goes after my hand as soon as I open the tub)
