I'm new here and I am sure this question has been posted before. I would like to get a ball python breeding collection going and I was wondering what color/morphs should I invest in first? I'm not looking for the which ever ones you like answers either lol I would like to know so that I can get pretty much as many morphs as possible lol I've bred chameleons in the past but now since I rescued my first ball I've been addicted to them (4 as of now) I cant get enough!
Thanks in advance

You might want to check out the "Ball Python Breeding" section of the forum. Probably a more likely place to find your answers. Wink

Some of us started out with a Normal and a CO or DOM genetic Bp...and branched out from there. It all depends on where you see yourself farther down the line.

There are plenty of good animals to start with, but your question seems indicative that you haven't researched the genetics and prices yet?

In addition to Green's suggestion, I would encourage you to start at that point. Smile

If you have enough go for a super Phantom lol

Or if you're not a millionaire you could get piebalds [admin: edited]. Of spider and Mohave which are [admin: edited] each.

There is a price list I found.

careful BP Lover you are walking the line of the rules about advertising for other sites since it looks like a price list for what he has..... but good information though.

BP_Lover's post was edited because it violated forum rules. Please review the forum rules here http://www.rcreptiles.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=149. Pricing, links to other breeder websites, etc. is a violation of forum policy. Thank you for your understanding and for not not further violating the forum rules throughout this discussion.

Sorry everyone for posting in the wrong part of the forum, I seem to do that a lot when I join new forums lol. As of now I have an adult pastel male, adult normal female, and two 08 summer hatched 100% het albinos male and female. I am just looking for other opinions on color/morphs from all of you experts Smile. So if any breeders would like to help me a little on getting started please feel free.

Thanks in advance.

You posted in the correct part of the forum, it was the BP's answer that was in violation of the TOS.

I believe that we have some information listed on the various morphs in the morph section. Yes, we do... http://www.rcreptiles.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3226

This link should help you understand which morphs make which morph...and guide you in your selection.
