Welcome!
That's a question that is best left up to the individual. There is plenty of information on the forum, and if you make liberal use of the free "search" button at the top of this page, you will find it. That questions has been answered ad nauseum over all the forums..a google search would yield more answers.
Either way is fine, and it is a personal decision of the herp keeper.

Yeah, no right or wrong answer there, and the topic has been discussed frequently. The best answer for you will hinge on many factors, like how many snakes you have, how much time you have for the feeding exercise, cost, availability, etc.

Preference is all up to the individual and the snakes want some will only eat live and vice versa on ft so its all up to you I guess.

I've been feeding live, as my snakes came to me that way, but after the other night, and a rat almost bit my big female, I am definitely going to try to switch them over! Can't have my non legged kids being bitten.
Having to jump in and inhumanely kill a rat didn't make me happy

Ideally you'd have a good pair of forceps or something handy to interfere in such a case.

Well, since I had nothing but my stupidity, lol, I reached in and squeezed the rats neck....no further explanation needed, it was gross. I will be switching over as soon as I get through feeding the live ones I have left, assuming the snakes will take to F/T.
And in taking a_green's advise, I will also have the forceps in hand for live feeding the rest of my rats. This rat had some serious intentions, and the snake had the rat by the tail, so no way to defend itself either, argh.

Update: My pastel male refused the first P/K rat, so I gave it to my het albino guy, and he took it after about 5 minutes of dancing around it, lol.
