hey everybody, I am planning on switching my substrate out from cypress to eco earth compressed coco fiber. i was just curious on how it conducts heat. for example like if it doesnt get as hot as easily as cypress. also just your overall opinion would be nice

I've never used that before, but i've used the repti bark and cypress. I use aspen now and love it it's easy to clean and fairly cheap. Not too mention it holds humidity pretty well....

i too, was considering using this but wasnt sure if it was safe to use. ive been using aspen ever since ive owned a bp. hopefully others will chime in whether they know if its safe to use or not. if it is i may give it a try. aspen is a good substrate but its very dry.

Drys out very quickly I hear, but it seems fine otherwise from what i've seen.

yes it is completely safe for all animals. you can even plant live plants in it instead of using dirt.
