I've taken a few good tongue-flicking pics over time, but was never 100% satisfied with the sharpness of them. So yesterday during cage-cleaning, I set him up against a dark background, good lighting and fooled with some camera settings until I got this beauty. I didn't know the tips of the fork would be transparent. Cools!

 Its pretty much the factory macro setting, with a little EV +/-compensation tweak.
