3x as much?
For one, you need a female to start breeding. A nice healthy female. Secondly, females grow larger than males, usually a foot large as an adult. Most like to say that they have a 5 ft bp rather than a 3 1/2 or 4 ft'er..
And lastly.. girls have larger brains than guys. :(

females are worth their weight in gold as they are the egg bearers...
they are also more sought after because you can have a breeding colony with 10 males and 2 females...
