So I bought a new camera a couple days ago (Nikon D40) and couldn't resist taking it for a walk in the park with my girlfriend today. Glad I did because the critters were out enjoying the day.














There's a frog and the prehistoric head of a snapping turtle in this one.

wow great work, i was hoping within the next few weeks to get out and hopefully get some wildlife photos. im actually planning on doing this which means (i wont see anything) unlike you who accidentally happened on it and were prepared!! maybe thats what i need to do plan on not seeing anything but be prepared just incase... lol.


also that last pic i had a hard time spotting the frog, i was thinking it may be one like in the 1st pic, very nice. if the turtle hadnt of posed for the cam that frog may have been a snack.

I have no trouble finding turtles and frogs, but snakes always elude me. Great pics! Took me forever to see the frog in the last one.

Niiiice..I especially liked the pics of the turtle swimming and later coming out of the water.
