Alright, well my snake was laying there on the cool side of the tank, not doing much.

Then he starts looking around, flicking his tongue, and when I was watching him he was like bending his head to the side, or rubbing it off the side of the glass, and he did it a few times with both sides of his head.

Should I be worried?

Hmmmm. Its most likely just something weird that your snake did. But just to be on the safe side I would quarantine it immediately.

Well, he's the only Snake I have, so what do you mean by Quarantine?

Like isolate him from other snakes?

Yes. DO NOT get any other snake until this goes away. I don’t want to alarm you, but there is a chance that it is IBD....Very unlikely though...this is just part of the TON of signs of IBD…just to be on the safe side don’t get any more snake in the mean time...also no tegus or monitors...just to be extra safe.

I don't plan on getting any other reptiles in the near future anyways.

I read that snakes are unable to flip themselves over when places on their backs, well my snake seems to do so perfectly fine, as well he flicks his tongue normally, doesn't regurgitate, and eats well.

The only things I noticed was some weird head movements and possibly star gazing, should I get him checked out by a vet?

The breeder told me that he was perfectly healthy, had no bugs, and was eating well.

I have yet to find any mites or ticks, and he's been eating perfectly.

If I find out that the breeder sold me a snake infected with IBD I'm going to get very very angry.

You can get a blood smear....if the virus is active the vet would be able to see the effects in the blood. I would wait for more signs....

I'm not sure, but I think it could be stomatitis, because in his water dish I found kinda globby white stuff that looks like bread.

This was a day and a half ago, but I never found anymore after that, and there's no saliva running out of his mouth, he's having no problems eating, and he doesn't mind when I touch his head.

do snakes have an ability to "scratch"? because Peanut has done this before, only lasts like a couple of rubs then he goes back to doing his thing. also the RTB likes to have her head rubbed-not by me- and she will just lie there like a dog, turning her head from side to side and I swear if she had legs, they would be kicking.

Actually I have seen Jack? Ariel? rub against the side of the glass and other items in the tank, because he/has has water (after misting) on his face. He/she really hates the water.
