diffrent morph, an Axanthic is a recessive gene that when bred to a normal produces all normals 100% het for Axanthic. in its visual form it is a black and silver ball. they do tend to brown out as they age
a RED Axanthic is a super form of a CO-DOM animal and is a black and silver animal much like the Axanthic.
when a Het Red ( visual codom) is bred to another het red you get a chance to produce the Red Axanthic..
Het Reds are visual Black Backs with a noticeable pattern and are good looking snakes if they come from the right line.
some het reds look just like a Normal and you would never know it was something special unless you had the eye that some have established over years of keeping and looking through some CH animals. there is another morph called the LORI ball that is also thought to be another Red Axanthic ball.
the cool thing about them is the traits mix well and being a visual het animal makes it known what will produce the Red down the line ( no worring about possible hets and all)
