Just place a rodent in the cage and and you'll know if it's hungry or not. Laughing Laughing Laughing

ok so AGAIN today he doesn't want to eat which sux. cuz the last time he ate was like 2wks ago. i forgot who it was that suggest live but i might try that instead of throwing away 2mice already. i was planning to get a live one and scent the room a bit and when he's in food mode to put a FT in, does anyone think he'll go for this?? if not then what are signs of hunger? cuz i left the FT in the tank for awhile thinkin he would eat it but he jus used it for a pillow, yup a pillow. should hav taken a pic...but i don't know maybe he doesn't like FT and the first time was luck because today espically when i tried to feed him, he would flick his tongue and look at the mice a number of times as if he was going for it, head kept popping out his hide and all but then BAM nope nothin. so he basically played me today.

Dragon, not many bps will eat if they do not feel secure. It was suggested that you lay more ground cover, another hide, and wall paper in your bp's tank.

I suggest that you review the information that was posted in response to your queries, because really nothing much can be done to force a snake that doesn't feel secure to eat. He may eventually eat from sheer hunger in spite of the set ups, but if you want him to eat and all other things being correct..then perhaps he is feeling that he must have a feeling of security.

Your tank:
