Well, it's about time to feed the snake, but I don't know where I should get the mice/rats. I've seen Feeders Supply advertised on TV and I've been to their website, but they say nothing about the rodents. Does anyone know if they carry them for food purposes? Or, know of any other places that sell them?

Well, you can get mice/rats from just about any pet store. I don't think I have been to one that didn't sell them. Now, finding frozen may be a little more challenging. There is a post on here somewhere that talks a little about the loss of nutrients through the freezing process. I feed live and just stun them a little before feeding time. Prices vary, but a store shouldn't charge a arm and a leg for feeder rodents.

you can check out www.rodentpro.com as well

Petco. $5. Smallest they have are medium sized rats, so if it's a smaller snake go with a mouse, $2. Just be prepared if your friend doesn't eat right away.

I know nothing about Feeders Supplies. Call them. The worst they'll do is chuckle and say no.

I would try local pet stores, if they're not frozen you freeze it yourslef. The pet store around here will kill it for you if need be Very Happy Look online for a reptile show near you as well, they have vendors that sell frozen in bulk for a good years supplies for 30-40 bucks! Good luck! Wink

I couldn't bring myself to 'stun' one of them. I know, it sounds girly, but I would just feel too bad.

Anyway, I'll check rodentpro.com out...thanks Smile

Unfortunately, we moved to one of the only places in the US that doesn't have a Petco within 100 miles Go Kentucky!

I did a search and the closest one to me is Little Rock. About 4 hours drive.
