Beautiful snake...and you're right, the bunny is pretty easy to spot.

Mine's a little hyper, but I've seen an adult that was the most chilled out snake I've ever seen. Do they slow with age?

To tell you the truth, I wouldn't know. Kingsnakes were the first animals that got me into the reptile world. I got her when she was one year old (thats what the reptile show in WI Dells told me) and she was the nicest snake since then. She did bite my girl once but that's what she gets for not washing her hands after feeding her bp. In the other hand, I had Boo another kingsnake. not Cal tho, eastern kingsnake. He look so nice when I got him all black and crazy lemon yellow patterns on his belly. He had a scar on him and the breeder said it was from a prey. I figure she was lying bc he was too little to be feeding it any pray that can actually fight back. So I knew he was wc but I still brought him home. Boo was a EVIL. He would try to get loose while handling him. If you think Bps are scape artists, wait until you see your new snake. He would pee and poo on my hand every time, rattle his tale at me, do drive-bys on my fingers, crazy stuff. Never gave up tho. I handled him everyday for at least five mn. Pee or poo i wouldn't let go (gently of course). Until it finally paid off. Every time I reached for him, he would climb up on my hand without having to smell his nasty scents. I gave him away to one of my friends and he tells me that even his little sister plays with Boo now. So I guess they do come down after a while. They're though snakes tho. In the wild their diet consists on other reptiles including their own kind and rattle snakes.
