|
Arwen laid eggs...discovered them two days ago (well it's been hectic around here with the renovations going on!) Mother and eggs are doing fine, so far she's thrown 3 slugs, but it's her first time.
Finally caught someone ovulating!! This is Firebird. I am not sure what to expect from this laying because my original records were lost, and since then I have only had her with Spider, Mojave, and Pastel..unless I put Mo'Money to her earlier I have something very nice..but regardless..I know I got something! *the picture is sucky because I didn't have my good cam and had to use the cell phone cam.

Thanks guys!
Arwen is gorgeous, a really nice reduced pattern, should clean up whatever I put her with.
Please notice that Firebird retains her coloration...as you can see from the sucky pic that she still has coloration, she's much brighter in person...whomever I have paired her with should benefit. (fingers crossed).
People say that some Pastels, because they brown out, are ugly. I have never seen an ugly Pastel and every morph dulls a bit with age. That's what time does to us. Some of us stay young looking longer it's true, but time waits for no man and everything on this earth (I think) gets duller with age.
That said, my pastel is beautiful!

Deb just a quick suggestion.... unwrap her and see what shes laid... a snake will still coil around slugs as if they are good. she might have thrown some out but just make sure there not all slugs

Congrats on getting eggs! You decided not to do maternal incubation with your animals?

Thanks guys!
Yep, Mark. Things are very topsy-turvy at the house right now and she was displaying signs of being stressed. So, I decided to take that burden from her so she could focus on herself without having to worry about her eggs.
