I heard of this! It was retrieved, packed on ice and later reattached. Last I read, he was doing well.

Whether or not he'll continue to lend a hand to the zoo needing a Vet, remains undecided. Twisted Evil

Yeah I remember that....I did post something of the sort last year with some guy that went thru the same thing and the pic was of him in the hospital.
