Okay, I am trying to find a list of some sorts that will give me the outcomes of breeding a banded to other morphs. I know banded isn't an extremely rare morph, but what happens if I breed to another banded? More bandeds or something more like a spider?
Thanks for any help.

I believe that the "banded morph" has not yet been proved. Some say it justs pops up through selective breeding. But there are people who have bred banded to a banded and got all banded. I have a link, but it is to another site. And I am not sure if I can post it. If I can I will. Smile

I forgot to mention a second ago... Breeders have used banded balls to "clean-up" other morphs. Some people have said that by using the banded ball with other mutations (such as spiders) they have been able to fine tune the morph's markings.

Thanks for asking first. The rule of thumb is: if it's another breeder's site, it's not allowed; if it's a scientific site or educational genetic site it's ok:

Rule 8. Spam is not tolerated here under any circumstance. This includes offering hosting services (charged and free), installation services, solicitation, ball pythons for sale, ball pythons wanted, etc. You are implicitly agreeing to a non-compete with RCReptiles.com and are not allowed to offer, post or provide links to animals for sale if they compete in any way, shape or form with animals offered by RCReptiles.com. We spend a considerable amount of money each month on marketing our website and animals so it's unfair for persons to "piggy back" off our marketing endeavours, traffic and resources by attempting to monetize from our efforts and capital expenditures. Recruiting of any sort (moderators, designers, professional MOD work etc.), be it for paid or unpaid jobs, is not permitted either. Users posting spam will be warned and their post removed.

That is true! The banded balls (I hestitate to call them morphs as they aren't proven) do clean up other markings very neatly. Smile

Very well, thanks for the reply. I am sure if people Googled "Banded Ball Python", they would find the information that I had talked about earlier.

bandeds have been proved out by many diffrent breeders

they do clean and it is a genetic triat. some are recessive and some are codom if im correct and when crossed with other morphs they make beautiful snakes
