You are not crazy, you are very wise. Boas and Balls are escape artists. All animals that are determined will find a way to get into or out of places. We as the intelligent species are kept on our toes and two steps ahead of them to ensure that they don't get in or out of places. I have had two escapes because I underestimated their escape skills (I found them immediately). I haven't had anymore escapes since I started using those clamps and later switched to the racks.

The thing with the blue top? Those aren't water bowls, the water bowls are smaller; those are misters. They make fog, supposed to be decorative household items. I got creative trying to get my aquarium humidity up. I also have plexiglass over more than half the top of the aquarium built to stay in. ((can you see how water is beginning to build up from the bottom?)) just wet..that's all, it was never humid like it was intended to be.
