I'll put my money on urates any day! 
It's utterly amazing how they adhere to surfaces like glue. What's even more amazing to me is the fact that urates can literally stick to the surface in a bowl filled with water! I've cleaned cages where a ball python urinated in its water bowl and after dumping the water out, there remained a clump of urate stuck on the bottom of the bowl. I have to physically take a metal object and scrape it from the bowl to get it off!
Has this happened to you yet?

I have had to replace 3 hides and 2 logs because poo is glue. soaking it will not make it come off. That is why I have switched to using cardboard hides, right now a coke fridge box, perfect size when cut in half.

Why don't I have this problem? My snakes poo on the substrate and I pick it up. If they poo on the plastic (in the corner) I scrape it up. It comes up!

peanut has major poop issues, if it is in the tank he will not come out, if it is on his log, he will not go near it even after I clean it off, and if it is on his hide he does not go in. He loves to poo on his hide.

Eko is the same way. She poops in the hide, I know it right away. She avoids it like the plague. And she always does it there for some reason  . But urates? Oh yea; I'd stack it up against super glue any day

K ive had my baby for18 days now(2weeks) she really hsan't pooped anything, shes eaten three time and all ive ever seen is little yellow and white thingd, they're hard but not big? is this normal, or is ther somthing much bigger about ready to come out? lol

Sahsa, on her last shed, crapped right inside the door of her hide while still inside. I was waiting for her to shed and saw she finally had, opened the tub and thought I'd find her curled in her other hide. No. Poor thing is stuck to the very back with the steamy pile trapping her. The hide, being on the heated end, had been capturing the vapors and holding them in.
I think I'll go put a couple pin holes in the back of those hides right now.

The SNAKE was stuck?? Now, THERE'S one for the books! I don't have any interesting things to say that happen to my snakes...they eat, sleep play...that's about it.
Well, I have had 2 escapes last year, but found them i mmediately, not even an hour passed....nothing interesting happens to me!

Sorry, worded funny. The snake wasn't stuck in the poo, she just couldn't or wouldn't go through it to get out of the hide. I cut back doors in all of them, and poked a few vent holes as well.
Live, raise snakes, and learn.

i use shredded paper or aspin shavings and plastic planter pots from home depot so when they pooh it doesnt stick to the plastic and clumps up with the paper. and my bowls are stainless steel so every 2 weeks i throw them in the dish washer to disinfect and clean them.
