The cheapest that I have found was in a "Kroger" store. $5.00 for a dietary scale!

It doesn't have to be an actual Krogers, some stores (big food chains, not mom/pop stores) have a dollar aisle or something similiar. You may be able to find one there.

Yea no Krogers around me.
I'll have to try pathmark or food basics.
how high should the scale be able to go? 3000-4000 grams good enough?

4000 grams equals 8.8lbs How many pounds can a BP weight? Anymore than this?

You should be safe with an 8.8 scale.

It's rare to have females reach 4000 grams actually. It's a cycle with them. They get heavy, have eggs, lose weight and the process starts over again. They fast as well so they don't just grow and grow and grow.

Wal-Mart sells a decent digital scale in thier kitchen section for about $18. Not sure what the max weight was, but I think it was 5 or 10 lbs... hmm... And yes, with a push of a button, it does weights in metric as well.

I'm going to look for one at work today(cashier at Winn-Dixie). I saw someone buy one but I couldn't get a good look at it. You know, stuff's only in my hands for like a second. I know where to look though.
