So Hugh decided that the rat was too big (even though I know he should be eating rats that size) so I had to run out and get something smaller.

I always feed him pk mice/rats because me is the biggest pansy ever and would be to afraid to eat live (I think that's why he wouldn't eat the bigger rat, because he started running away from it and was very jumpy).
So I held this smaller rat out for him and he was all interested and hovering around it, but I didn't think he was going to take it because if he doesn't strike right away then he usually won't eat until the next day. But he very slowly opened his mouth and grabbed the rat and then he just sat there with it in his mouth for a second before he pulled it into his hide and ate it.
He is such a goof

So finally after a month of him begging my for the correct sized rat; He eats!
