Got his digs together in time for winter. Under the substrate..dirt and Aspen is a Kane heater. There's also a heat lamp hanging from the inside of the roof. Later I will find a tarp to put over the door.

Nice. That place is nice. He must have to take out a tortgage to afford it...ugh sorry. That doesn't look as good on paper as it sounded in my head.

How long does it take him to eat all that? How fast/slow do they grow?

I think that HE thinks so too, he has come back the 2/3 times he has escaped from other makeshift enclosures. Very Happy

The two that escaped this time, hadn't been with me long enough to know me...I do not know if they will turn up in the yard somewhere.

Laughing Laughing It's okay..I'll laugh anyway. Laughing Laughing

I have not stayed and watch him eat from start to finish..but usually I check back in an hour or so and he's done, or not..depending on what's on his plate and how much he likes it.

He's not a quick grower..and fast growth could cause pyramiding of their shells. But his growth is steady if slow.
