Hey everyone, I was looking for an answer to my question and wondered if anyone on here could help me out.
I have a corn snake and he's of fair size right now and my friend just bought herself a corn snake as well and he is also about the same size this moment. We know they are not babies and were never introduced as such, but could they be introduced now and housed together?
We know we would feed them in separate tanks and then even wash them as well as our hands to remove the scent, but do you think they would be ok living in a bigger tank with one another even though they are just now being introduced?
Or if not housed together, could they at least see one another now and again if they were both just fed and washed?

Yea, I know ball pythons...but is it the same with corn snakes? I heard they can easily be housed with quite a few in the tanks at one time.

It's the same for any snake. As a matter or fact, I just heard of one corn eating another the other day!  (I can direct you to the site if you are interested pm me)

Ok, and no that's fine. But would it be ok if like they even interacted with each other a little bit under our super vision, or just like let them not see each other at all?

Snakes have to get together eventually to "mate." So, I am quite sure unless either is sick, diseased or "unwell" in any way..that it should be alright.
You would want to make sure that both are mite and tick free.

Yea, that would be a must! But basically I wanted to know if they could like have little 'play dates' or anything if we sat there and watched them...I probably -wont- house them together, but i just wondered if they would get along at all really.
Like they wont just go at it and try to kill each other or something the second they are introduced So, play dates would be ok you think so long as we sat there and watched/held them?

Might be possible, might not. Definitely not recommended for housing.
My last corn didn't, wouldn't tolerate any other snake close to it, and made it quite obvious, lol, rest his soul, lol.
I've seen multiple snakes housed together, corns even, and you could tell all was not a Garden Of Eden in any of the enclosures that had multiple snakes.

Hmm, Yea, wouldn't ever feel safe housing them together like that. But might see if they will even at least tolerate to -sniff- another snake, corns don't have HUGE teeth and we'll hold them or something and just see what they think of one another maybe even from a little distance and that'll be the end of that.
