Well some more information would be helpful, as in pics of the set up, how old is the snake, and such.

The bedding is a felt(bacteria trap)? ouch. Might be begging to get out...
Some serious issues with felt, not a good substrate for a snake...
Have you read the ball python care sheet? Some good important reading for ball python owners

Repti felt?? I don't think I've heard of that.... is it that carpet stuff or actual fabric?

Yep, my last rescue came with a reptile critter cage with that stuff on bottom, I threw the "carpet" away, replaced it with snake shreds, aspen shredded up instead of chips, harder to accidentally digest. What type of heat/lighting is involved? Maybe the snake is not comfortable with its temp?

Well assuming all is ok temp wise, and no mites, maybe it's hungry?
What's the feed schedule, Rats? Mice? Size? How often?
It sounds like it is just roaming, lol. Mine do several times a day, for short periods usually, come out, check things out, do an around the enclosure howdy to everything, and back to the hide they go.

^ that was my first thought, after husbandry of course. make sure they are getting enough to eat, I know most of mine poke their heads out more when they haven't been fed in a while. After a few days of peek-a-boo and day roaming it's 1-2-3 BOOM when I put the prey in.

80ish, 90ish...sounds like somebody is guessing. If you don't KNOW the temps, just say so - we'll tell you to get a thermometer and move on.
What size tank is that 100w bulb sitting over?

If it's none of the ideas that were suggested, then take it to the Vet if you are concerned to find out what's really the issue.
I have my thoughts about lights for heat, etc..but in the absence of pictures, I'll keep it to myself.
