This is kinda gruesome and I apologize in advance but anyway. I think I've seen pictures posted here about this before but does anyone have any pictures or know where I could find some of snakes that have been injured by their prey? I ran across an uneducated person who thinks that its basically impossible for a snake to get injured by live prey and I like visual representation to back up what I'm saying when I explain the risks. Anyone able to help me out?
I did try using the search feature and anything I tried searching with was apparently too broad a topic and I ended up with over 1k search results and I checked the stickies and didn't see anything there either.
Thanks in advance

This picture was given to a friend of mine when asked if he should feed his corn live prey. He's been feeding her PK since he saw the picture.
--> Chewed by a rat. Ouch ):
Try searching google, plenty of hair rising stories there.

The forum that I used to browse is server offline, so I can't link you there. Either way if you search for 'rat bit my snake' or 'rat bite on snake' you may get a couple of Yahoo Answer pages that aren't very helpful.
I did however find a few more pictures:
Pictures of rat bites ): Bloody and none too pretty.

Those pictures made me shiver...
I don't understand why somebody would leave ANY prey item with their snake. I only takes a few seconds for frigthened prey to attack :(
I say, if you're gonna feed live, atleast stun the thing and supervise.

I See No Problem With Feeding Live But The Key Word is Supervision.
Most Rats Don't Attack The Python, They Just Get Hungry And Start Starving From A Lack Of Protein.
So They Start to Eat The Snake....And As We All Know Balls Aren't Fighters, They Would Rather Ball Up And Hide Their Head.

Sorry Guys I Know The Pics Are Bone Chilling But Some People Need To See Them Because they think Its ok To Leave A Live Rodent In The Cage With A Snake.

Thanks for the reminder. IMO, this wasn't left a few minutes, it takes a while for a healthy, well-fed rat to get hungry.
*There will always be a few that think, "It won't happen to me!" or some that just don't understand the BP mentality or pysche i.e those that think the BP will move if it gets too hot.
