Hello,
I have a normal female I just purchased. (I have her quarantined..)
She is VERY active all over the place for the last 3 days. Anyway.. today I noticed that she is spending a bit of time in her water dish.. but I haven't noticed any cloudy eyes or dull skin.. Her temps are 89 in basking and 83 in cool side. Humidity is 65% all around.
She is 5 years old and weighs 2,275 grams (about 5 lbs.) she has bred a few times (I don't know if they could be a snake equivalent to stretchmarks)
I noticed today that she has 2 red dots on her belly scales.. it seems to be under the scales. they are about the size of a pen tip and are located about 2 inches from her neck.
I took some pictures. I don't know what it could be.. and am hoping nothing. The only thing I can think of is mites.. or something. I don't really know. I have her first vet appt for the 26th but.. if there is something wrong with her I will take her to someone else that can take her faster.
((I'm sorry about the crappy photo shoot.. but I only have my cell phone with me to take the pics))

Hmm it could be many different things, though I dont think stretch marks would be it. Does she feed live or Pre Killed? Im thinking it could be scar tissue from a bite.

I fed her for the first time tonight. It was a F/T Large Rat. I'm not sure if they fed her live before. I'll keep an eye on it and see if it get's worse or.. if it goes away. either way.. She'll be seeing a vet very soon.
Thanks,
AJ

I am sorry, I do not have a clue what that could be, the picture isn't clear enough.
Better pictures would help, or a trip to the Vet, if you are really concerned and it doesn't clear up (if it's not the natural coloration of the BP before shed).
