So I was thinking.. and I am probably WAAAAAAAY off base here. but what if you could find a way to breed a corn snake with a ball python. We cold call em' Corn Balls .. And think of how many new morphs we could come up with.

Yea if they are anything like Ligers (lion and tiger) and Beefalo (cow and buffalo) they will most likely be sterile wouldnt they?

Maybe if you take a turkey baster and just do a lil' suction on the snakes hemi... And insert it into the female. lol. I don't know.. I'm no scientist and I'm not very bright.
It's worth a lil' wondering though.
And chances are.. it probably would be sterile.

First Thing I Seen Was HEMI Because Its Highlighted And The First THing That Came To Mind Was Dodge!
I Think Most Hybrid Animals Are Sterile.

I hope nobody is seriously considering testing this out, but if they are, then my money is on no, they won't succeed in producing offspring. I believe they are too distantly related. I doubt you'd see any success breeding them outside the same genera.

ball X woma? Really? This one surprises me due to different genera (Python + Aspidites). Are the offspring fertile?
ball X Blood? Same genus (Python)
and i think Ball X Retic? Same genus (Python)

Woma surprises me because they are in different genera, but they are still in the same family, Pythonidae. To get to corn snakes from ball pythons, you have to leave not just the species and the genus, but also the family, since corn snakes are in Colubridae. That seems a pretty big stretch to me. I'm not saying it's impossible, but it seems highly unlikely.
Whoever mentioned ligers (and tigons), those are in the same genus, Panthera.
