I feed both rats and mice. I have some ball pythons that want nothing to do with rats while other take rats for a few months, switch to mice and then back to rats. When I seem to think I've got them figured out they throw me for a loop! Brick wall

I have read(I’ll post my sources Very Happy ) that rats are more nutritious that mice. But if your snake only eats mice despite your best attempts to get it to eat rats, than your stuck with mice.

I got some rat pups for Takara today because they were out of mice. she's either really hungry or prefers rats. she went right for the first one.
