Anyone have any information on these snakes? I know how to care for them and how big they get..I'm just wondering about their temperament because Ive heard many different things.

Depends on the individual and how much you work with it. I have a ball python that is meaner than a blood, and a blood is who is nicer than most balls.

Personally I have not came across any that are tame enough for a child to handle. But a more experienced herper would have no problem not getting bit by them.

You could say that. Though the ones I have been with were young, and had not been handled much.

I thought they were the less nippiest of Central American boas...
Never owned one myself either...
Are you going to get one?
