I saw that ad in the paper yesterday so we called about the cages and this is what we got for 20 bucks:
Theres also a smaller female rat, feeder size, I guess the accessories where 2 rats LOL.
I put the big rat( the size of a small puppy) into a bigger tank, they had both rats in the astroworld looking cage. Its too small for both rats. We put our sons hamster in the astroworld cage and the big rat in the 10 gallon tank. Shes very friendly likes to sit on your neck and look around. I think she may be too big for breeding, maybe not, I think I will breed her at least once and see how it turns out.
BTW this is not a for sale ad

The cage is cute!
She is not too old to breed, as long as she's breathing, she's breedable.
I have rats HUGE rats (will take a pic of one of the pregger females when I get home she's the size of a large man's shoe and she's a very reliable breeder and takes treats from my hands ( all of the litters that I held back to grow do) and do not bite or attack when I take babies from the trays (I won't be putting her on my neck though..there are very fragile vessels there, and she might be harboring some repressed grudges).
I wonder if I can train them to begin bringing virgin sacrifices to the front of the trays...ummm I have 32 females and one male per 4 Does.....so...each can give 2 appropriate sized...etc..you see where I am going with this??
