I will have some up later this evening had to run out the front door to work this morning, I took the shots just no time to load them up. As to her being tiny she is a young snake, only a little over a foot or so I think, and the tank is a 20L that I got, bought the start kit for snakes this time around for her. I have named her Tyrandra, Ty for short sounds like a powerfull but fun name.

I would suggest not holding her for a week or two so she can get acclimated to her new home.

thanks for the information but it is so hard to not to, I just want to hold her every 5 seconds, I generally just sit on my computer and then glance at her every few minutes.

alright here are the pictures, I have since gotten her another hide and a bigger water dish, that is big enough for her to get into and also most rocks on the ground so he dont feel uncomfortable with the open spaces.
Here is what it looks like now
she came out to check it out and then ran back to her hide rock

Arlynos,
I am very glad you joined. As an RC member you have accepted the responsiblity of being committed to ensuring that your BP(s) are among the healthiest around. That said, we often (always) offer advice on how to make the environment more correct (can't think of the right word) for the BP.
I suggest you look at the caging and enclosure section to get more ideas http://www.rcreptiles.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1349 and we will answer any questions that arise.
Do not worry if you do not have the money to get the things that are necessary (I am assuming that the stick on thermometer is the only one you have) some things can be done that can hold the BP until the necessary equipment is purchased (and many things are not expensive).
Be aware, that if you want your BP to grow up FAT HEALTHY and SASSY ( as ours are) then what is best for the BP is of prime importance. (wow, I do sound school marmish! )
One of the fun things is setting up the tank correctly. It can sometimes be a challenge, but it's always fun!
That said...the rest will comment later.

Yea the little stick in the bottem left is a temp till my next paycheck when i can get a better one, it is better to know the temp on the cool side then not at all, but it is a cheap one and I plan on getting one like the other one in the tank at least, in the upper right hand side. Thanks for the welcome.

Beautiful BP
a few things on the set up
3 lights are not needed, only one. you want to provide a warm side and a cool side to the tank so the snake and thermoregulate. easy fix is to pick a side for the hot and a side for the cool. cover 3/4 of the top of the tank ( cool side) with 1/4 exposed for the heat lamp to go on. i would suggest to use a ceramic bulb as these put out heat but do not add blinding light.
put 2-3 hides in a tank that large with a snake that small. one on hot side, one on cool, one some where around the middle. snakes dont like open spaces and having a large tank for a small bp is not always first choice.
put in a larger water dish because the heat from the bulb ( no matter what you use) will kill the humidity in the tank which should be 60% or so at all times and higher while its in shed.
if you cover up the back and sides of the tank with something it will also make the snake feel more secure. ( these can be found in the fish section at your local pet store. most are black on the back of them and the black works better than anything)
again like said above try not to handle your snake at all for at least the first week. i know its hard but it can cause feeding issues and stress issues that can kill the snake

I have three lights because two have night bulbs in them and not day bulbs I switched out the day bulb for another one since it was blinding me badly and I coudlnt imagine for the snake, when I go get her first meal this week I will get the black backgrounds for her, but I will definately cover part of her up since I was having a humidity issue with her cage. it would dip down to 30% after I turn the day bulb on, but would crawl up to 45% after a while. Thanks for the advice.

Arlynos, the post wasn't aimed at you and I am sorry if you got that impression, it was a general post aimed at the newbies (other than yourself ).
I was reminded that some newbies may be scared off by the tone of the post; this is one of the few (very few) forums where newbies can ask any kind of question that they like and get a respectful answer. Our concern is the BPs no question is too stupid or new. Ask away!
p.s. I understand totally...am at work too and sometimes my posts are brief to the point of rudeness, but that is never the intention.

moving on:
If you put a plexiglass top inside the lip of your aquarium (is it an aquarium or a pet keeper with a locking screen top) It would hold humidity very well. Below is one example:
This thermometer works very well in a pinch:
It takes temp at the ground level (where the snake is) and the humidity. I believe that they sell at Walmart for 6.00 (they don't sell them were I am anymore...cause I kept buying them out)
Then the Dollar store is our friend! I get dog bowls there (big ones) for 1.00 and they have a load of fake plants that can be laid around the tank to give the animal a more secure feeling.
Hope this helps.

It has a locking top on it, I bought the zilla snake starter kit from the local pet shop, and I were to get a plexiglass top would I have to drill holes in it to provide air flow? But also with the over head lamps it may melt the plexiglass?
