have you ever seen a male snake FREAK? 
I put Joe (Mojave) in with princess (Normal)..she's HUGE and I think she's gravid..but why take chances  ...anyway..
After I put him in and closed the bin, he immediately started thrashing, lunging trying to get OUT. He knocked over the water bowl like a child throwing a temper tantrum..just pushed up against it and used his muscles to turn it over!! Boy you had to see it...
As soon as I opened the bin and took him out he calmed down and I put him back to make sure that I was't imagining thngs.
He immediately started showing the same behavior...tense lunging around the bin seeking a way out and even got Princess agaited (she's so calm) that she started looking for a way out too! 
He pissed me off so, I took his raggedy behind out and put him back in his own bin..his sides were heaving...but he calmed down.
Princess is woke now (she's in shed blue eyes) and on the prowl. He has never acted like that with my other girls. He did NOT like her, he did NOT want to be in the bin with her and he made his dislike KNOWN (perhaps he knows shes gravid and can't put out? ).
I wish people would stop thinking these snakes do not have likes or dislikes or personalities, or do you have an explanation?
btw: Oldtimers will remember Mo'Money...well I put him in there with Princess, and they are both as calm as you please.

uummm maybe Joe didnt feel right about getting it on with his mate Mo's Princess...
Its just not his Princess...LOL
Or maybe they need more room......shes is big and curvy...

Update:
Mo'Money is locked with Princess, and Joe(Mojave) is with Vicky (normal) and he's not acting crazy.
