I've always used 11" flexwatt, but after looking around the web, some people (namely the boaphile) says thats overkill, and 3" and 4" work just fine.

Just wondering if anyone else has used the smaller widths with success, or its just because of the "special plastic" he uses he can get away with it.

Since the smaller stuff is cheaper per foot, if it works as well its more economical!
