good to see that shes not scared, most people in that age range freak out when they see a snake because they are so strong to the bible in which it portrays the snake as evil

That photo gives me hope.

I could easily see my mom getting into a reptile pet. She's the one who got me into them. But she'd end up with a snapping turtle. She's kind of nuts that way.

as a person who is very into theology and is a firm christian, Personally i can vouch that the scripture they're reffering to is taken TOTALLY out of context

I agree! It wasn't the poor hapless snake that was the cause of Adam and Eve falling into temptation, it was the puppeteer (we know who). Smile

I agree the puppeteer Evil or Very Mad .....yet the face and body of the snake is what people assimilate it to and thats so WRONG!!!!!!!!!!

Snakes are so misunderstood and people have this terrible misconception that they are evil and that all they want to do is kill ya and eat ya.

Lets educate!!!!!

True, I recently heard through the grapevine that my grandmother is worried about me *spiritually* because I have a snake... oh man, grandma! You've got to be kidding me! An animal can't be evil all by itself... and God made ALL His creatures beautiful!

I agree with all of you. In fact, after God finished his work, he stood back and observed his works and called them "Good." He didn't say, "Except for the snake!" Laughing

I agree with the wholeexcept for the snake thing. People need to realize that other people make up lies about snakes when they don't understand somethng about them. Also i don't think that God woud have made snakes if they were bad![/quote]

That is so astute. It is true. Even on televisions we make movies about fearing the "unknown" element, such as Aliens *(not all of them are bad).
Smile

*On television! Laughing
