What method did you use to make the spacing between shelves perfect for the tub to slide in and out but still be tight enough to prevent escape?

yah but HOW like did you just set the next shelf on the tub and screw it in or what? Some people use spacers that are just the length of the tub plus like 1/8 of an inch or w/e and screw it in. Or some people put folded paper between the top of the tub and the next shelf and screw it in. Just wondering which method you did?
