OMG......I cannot imagine the heartbreak and frustration he is going thru, and has yet to go thru with the euthanasia. On the one hand, it is good that this disaster will help the fight against IBD, but to lose so many animals in the process, it is small consolation.

Yes, and it come in though ONE snake. It only takes one snake. Crying or Very sad

I am happy that, he didn't try to sell them to the unsuspecting, or pass them off to other breeders, but what if before he realized what he had, he had them all in a show? How many other snakes, or breeders came and touched his snakes unsuspecting? We do not know how widespread this is yet. I am holding my breath, because I always hope for the best, but I am prepared for the worse. Evil or Very Mad

So as terribly sad and unfortunate as Brian's circumstances are, at least his boids will not perrish for naught. I hope the research done on his animals sheds a spotlight on this desease so that I never have to have my snakes put down.

He can't hear, but my heart still goes out to him.

...and I hate to do this, but the RodentPro banner at the bottom of the page that is linked to above, is about the funniest thing I've seen in a long time... sorry... this is a sad moment. I think I have to go back and click that cute little mouse some more to take my mind off of it...

I suggest hydrogen peroxide. It kills viruses and you don't have to rinse it out because it doesn't leave anything behind after it evaporates. Viruses unfortunately don't die if you leave them. I'm going to finish reading now.
