jus curious, i notice that when titan eats his feed, i like saying feed so sorry lol. but yeah where does it go? i usually expect to see like half of the eaten body like buldge out of titan's neck but i don't, does it jus all get smushed like when we eat before traveling? i hope this even makes sense. but yea jus curious as to where it all goes when it enters the mouth cuz i never see it travel. and also what is that thing they do when everything is down cept the tail and it seems like they doin a "compressing" thing? is it basically jus smushing the feed even more?

Well the rat does get 'compressed' an awful lot when it's swallowed, and there's a whole lot of muscle action going on there. When you see the bulge in the neck you can see how much the prey has been compressed down to swallow, and once most of it is down they use their amazing muscular action to keep it moving down into the stomach--and you know it's in the stomach once the narrow neck section relaxes again and you can just see a bit of a bulge in the midsection--it gets there whole but doesn't stay that way very long. Very Happy

Agreen is right!

If your not seeing it move or travel down it's body you might need to up the size a little bit. There should be a good buldge in there mid section after eating.... Cool

How big is your bp I don't remember? My smallest one is only 4 or 5 month's old and eats small rat's or rat pup's. If your feeding med mice that doesn't sound like enough.

Do you have any pics Very Happy

Yeah you definantley want to up the size. You can feed him two med mice. I would try a rat pup or a small rat. He's big enough that he can take those though trust me. If you can find adult mice those will work too. I know it's hard to find rat pups, but some times you can find pretty small rats or adult mice like I said. It should take some effort on there part to get down also if there eating with out struggling just a little then it's to small. I imigane it's getting those med mice down pretty fast.

is there a trick to feeding 2in one sitting? i tried to do that when he was eating small mice but he jus kept dodging and ate the small mice n that was it, this was like 3wks ago i think right before i bumped up to med. AND how BIG is a rat pup? cuz i brought a so called rat pup at this petstore around my place n feel like i got ripped off because to me it looked SMALLER then the small mice i fed him before.

Well no real trick, but after he eats the first just wait about 5 or 10 minutes and try again...

Different people consider rat pups different sizes. I would just try a small rat that is a little larger than an adult mouse....

Check out this site I would feed him the size that they have marked as small or medium. Everyone sizes them different if I go and buy a med rat it's huge but in this pic there my idea of a small.. it's confusing
