Well, I've got to give it up to the old boy. Pretty amazing stuff.
But the "parrot" (which this bird is obviously a master of "parroting") is the 4th smartest animal in the animal kingdom.
After the Ape, Whale/Dolphin, and Elephant.
Amazing stuff though, and I do love birds (much to the chagrin of my mother who hates them).

Um, lets see:
1. Ape
2. Whale/Dolphin
3. Elephant
4. Parrot
I wonder where I fit in? #5? (probably more like 10 or further below)

What was that line in Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy? Something to the effect that humans are third in intelligence after mice and dolphins?
I'm ok with with; I feed mice to my snake and get some Dolphin blood in my tuna occasionally...
