Looks like she was having a nice shed. It was coming off very well and I think she could have done it herself.
I can't say whether or not this is discomforting to her.

I was thinking the same, I have never assisted a whole shed, is this acceptable practice

Looks like I started a small controversial topic... Yep... it's about natural and assisted shedding. I guess I'm lucky that in Malaysia we don't have to control humidity as it is at the higher end all year round....

It's not controversial if it is accept practice. I just haven't seen it, and I'm sure the high humidity does help, but dang...

Based on my human feeling, at first she tried to avoid me touching her head as all snakes do.... but after I helped her halfway, she seems to let me assist her.... anyway, I poured water on her before I peeled it off...
Watching the video few times, I realizes that she got real nice size and shape now.... nice to be hold....
