Mine too! What button did you use? I have the Micro lense and regular lens and STILL can't get closeups like that. Have the Rebel..thingy camera.

well deb, i decided to experiment with all the settings. i am a true novice when it comes to cameras. i thought i knew something, boy was i wrong.. anyways there are different modes you can use on most cameras. i was experimenting with the manual mode and the macro setting enabled w/zoom and without and using different ISO settings. im sure you know most if not all recent digital cameras you can hold the shoot button half way down and it should auto focus.

my camera has quite the zoom power that i try and utilize in most situations but with the macro+zoom i was able to get really decent shots. my camera has a super macro mode which allows even closer shots and the max distance is like 3 inches away from the subject all the way up to touching the lens. anyways im sure there are far many more people who know plenty about cameras that could probably help us both out. feel free to chime in Smile
