1. Please use this section of the forum to debate and discuss what we consider in the herpetology world as "best practices" when dealing with ball pythons. This section is for debating issues or disagreements with "common ball python best practices" principles (ie. feeding live -vs- frozen, correct humidity levels, etc.) and not individual members or the policy of this forum (ie. The rules & policies of our forum). Since certain members may disagree with some common ball python principles, the discussion in this section may get very heated and intense but we expect all debates and commentary to be respectful of all parties involved, not contain profanity, not attack or slander any member directly or indirectly and adhere to the rules and policies of our forum.

2. This section is also for discussing deeper theoretical analysis from a scientific perspective about topics concerning ball pythons that may be out of the general realm for the other forums. The evolution of the species, intelligence and tests to prove or disprove ideas, "what if" scenario constructions, etc et al are examples of such topics.

3. Please do not publicly "call out" members in other forums to this section by way of posting in a thread if you disagree with them on a specific topic. Please send the member a PM (private message) inviting him or her to this forum if you'd like to debate the topic or issue and only the topic or issue raised by the member. This also includes referring to or directly naming the member in your opening statement as a way to persuade, slander or seduce the member to engage you in debate on the topic. Again, the debates are reserved for ball python related debates only.

4. The opinions in this section are just that, opinions, unless otherwise proven as factual and should be taken as such.

5. Inexperienced or novice ball python keepers looking for answers to ball python related husbandry questions should ask their questions in the other forums and not rely on any of information contained in this section of the forum.
