I chose most of the above. I have two snakes that will only eat mice (for some reason they simply decided they no longer wanted rats). Very Happy

I have some that LOVE ASF and now turn up their noses at rats. Mad

And some that will eat whatever I put in the tub and praise the lord cause dinner's ready! Wink

Then there are the "die-hards" that only want rats and nothing else will do. Razz

Finally, I have ONE that will eat NOTHING but gerbils...sigh. Mad

I acquired a female pastel recently and the smell of mice actually ticks her off. From frozen to live, she avoids them like a cat avoids a vacuum cleaner. Then I said "what the hay" and tried a rat pup. BOOM the strike, the meal, the satiation. This is just another reason to put onto the list of non-mammal creatures inhabiting personalities and making choices, especially with food.

P.S. Mice are evil anyways.. I fed my breeder male and female leftover corn muffin crumbs and they started brawling it out.. even when she's the bearer of his children. Sheesh!

I voted most of the above, though in fact it's only half of the above.

I'm feeding my ball small rats at the moment. I was feeding her one mouse a week. But decided to see if she could handle a rat. She did with no problem.

I feed mostly ASFs, and a few rats...I used to feed mice, too, but I don't have any live ones anymore. I've killed off most of my rats, because they weren't producing, so I'm only feeding a few cages worth of those (soon to be decreased by 2 more, after I knock off that last group, and give the leftover small ones to my live feeders. - that will leave me with 3 boxes of live rats)

*I know that isn't what you meant, but it is what was asked.... Laughing

From rat pups to small rats and jerboas. Mice only if they don't have jerboas big enough(Picky Pastel)
