So right now I have my bp in a 20g long. Which is fine she is only 22inches right now. But what is a good cage size for a adult. I was thinking maybe a 40g long or a 55g aquarium.
Now granted this is assuming that I am only going to have 2 snakes but I will probably end up with more...

again i suggest tubs or Racks as they provide the best heat and humidity variance.
full grown males can be housed in a 20 long
females need a little more room but its harder to keep humidity and heat correct on a larger tank. a 40 gallon breeder should do the trick. with the money you are spending on this tank, screen top, substrate, hides, water bowl and so on you could buy a rack to fit 5 ball pythons.

I didn't think about a 40g breeder. Of course still need to find out if I have a she or a he. I know racks are great and I would do it if I had more snakes.
One of the reason why I don't want a rack is because I want to build a water fall in her cage, it will keep the humidity up and it will be filtered so the water will always be clean.

be careful about water falls...they tend to have areas where the water is collected and also where it comes out that will allow the snake to get into and drown...
you might say there is no way this huge snake can fit in that tiny hole... trust me your wrong and the snake will show you how LOL
